A collection of one-page guides for creating the default character classes from the 1981 Basic/Expert rules.

After you’ve rolled your 3d6 down the line and selected your class, grab one of these step-by-step guides to get your character ready to play. These guides include information for handling the unique ability score swapping rules for each class, and a table with every ability score modifier.

You’ll also find all the starting saves for your class, details about rolling for hit points and gold, and even options for adventuring kits and character names to get your character to the table faster.

In addition to the 7 character classes (cleric, dwarf, elf, fighter, halfling, magic-user, thief), there is a one-page list of equipment and a one-page list of first level elf and magic-user spells.
